Spend your day lounging about at one of the many island pools. If you’re after a truly tropical experience, head to Bougainvillea Pool – hidden behind Catseye Beach, or if you’re after a drink at a swim-up bar then Main Pool is for you!

If you have just a short stay on Hamilton Island, then why not see the whole island by air?

Scenic flights are one of the most spectacular ways to see all the sights of the island. During your flight, you will see the beautiful turquoise colours of the crystal clear water, and you will have plenty of opportunities to take incredible photos of the iconic scenery!

If flying isn’t quite your style, why not head out on a cruise for a snorkel. You will have the chance to see beautiful reefs, hundreds of fish of all different shapes and sizes, and if you’re lucky you may even see a few turtles! Half and full day tours depart from the Island marina daily!

If you’re more of a land explorer, why not head out on one of the bush and walking trails around the island? Discover secluded beaches, stunning views and unforgettable picnic spots!

If you are more of a slow and moderate walker, take the route to Hideaway Bay, a hidden beach just a short stroll from the scenic trail entrance, or try Flat Top Hill Lookout for magical views of the island.

Whether you enjoy being fine dined and wined, or you’re just after a laid-back meal in a local cafe, there are plenty of ways you can enjoy and drink your way through Hamilton Island.

If you’re after some world class dining in a relaxed and stylish lounge, head to Beach Club Restaurant, ranked #1 best restaurant on the island, although it is on the pricier side of joints! Mains start from $48 during lunch time, while three course a la carte menus start form $105 during dinner.

Looking for something more casual?
Head to Marina Cafe, where you can find more affordable bites! At the cafe you will find pre made sandwiches, paninis, focaccias and wraps. Why not grab it as take away and enjoy it from a look out on the island?

If you’re after some killer dessert, or even a quick bite to eat, head to Bob’s Bakery, where you can find house-made sandwiches, pies, and sausage rolls! From flaky croissants to fresh ready-to-eat sandwiches, we can assure you Bob’s has something for every tooth!
